David grew up in Lakewood Colorado and Golden. He went to D'Evelyn Jr/Sr. High for 3 years and attended the Grand River Academy for his senior year. David started playing guitar in 1997, and has been in a couple of bands and has been a session player for most of that time period.
David has served in the US Navy, the Army National Guard, and has had several careers in his life. He has worked as truck driver, and he owned his own furniture restoration company. He is married to his lovely wife, Barbarella L. Hutto for five years. He has 3 children and one grand child, and his family is as important to him as God and his career.
David has always had an interest in the arts, in addition to playing guitar, writing songs, and performing, he went to school to learn how to produce and edit film. He has done some acting, and film production over the years as a hobbie.
David's first band was Mermicurial which was founded in 1999 at the University Of Northern Colorado, and featured Brian Collins, Bill Darwin, and David C. Hutto. The band cut a demo and tried to cut their teeth on the music scene, but were unsuccessful, and played mainly locally, and produced only a five song demo.
David then took time off from the music scene and joined the Armed Forces, when he got out of the military he started playing again, and found Jon Aliperto and began doing various studio session work with Jon. He also met David A. Bruno during that time and sang karaoke with Dave. Dave ran his own Karaoke company, and the three became good friends.
Dave also worked with Guitarist Ted Benko, and vocalist Melissa VanEssen on a side project in 2006. He took time off again from the music business, and began writing a science fiction story, which was published in 2007. He mainly worked, and provided for his daughter Angella who was born about the same time.
He then met his Wife Barbarella in 2009, and they have been happily married for 5 years. David then began playing bass for Pastor James Price's New Horizons Christian Fellowship in Lakewood, Colorado. He began session playing again with Jon Aliperto, and joined Jon's Rock/Rap group Resurrected. He then played lead guitar for New Horizon's worship team, and was recruited to play at the Light and Life Community Church in 2012, and has played there ever since.
He is still session recording with Jon Aliperto, and is the founder of F.T.F.-Face The Facts- he also has played guitar at Simchat Torah Beit Midrash a couple of times on Monday Nights.
